'Leading the way through partnership for integrated Mental Health Service delivery'
ADHB's Mental Health Service is an integrated service that is focused on delivering mental health care within the community. This comprehensive Mental Health Service covers all major needs groups, and is provided from a wide range of community based and inpatient facilities. We cover acute inpatient care, community services, specialist services e.g. eating disorders, rehabilitation, child and adolescent services and services for older people. In addition there are Maori Mental Health services and services focused on the needs of the Pacific Island populations.
Within the community, the changes at ADHB have been reflected in the integration of services that enable those who need them to access them more easily and appropriately. The services work collaboratively in order to provide a continuum of care for its users.
Working within our services means that you will get the necessary assistance to work safely and effectively with like-minded professionals at your side. Because we're linked to Auckland University for professional development opportunities, personal career prospects have never looked better.
